Dr. Adekunle B. Ayinmode: D.V.M. (1994) Zaria; PhD (2012) Ibadan: Dr Ayinmode worked briefly as the field Manager, Guinea Worm Eradication Programme (Carter Center) Southwest Nigeria (2002 – 2003) before proceeding for a M.Sc Biology and Control of Parasite and Diseases Vectors, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, U.K. (2004). He was a Visiting Scholar to Pulmonary Group, Department of Medicine, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada for training in Experimental Medicine, (2006) before he got a faculty position at the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology, University of Ibadan (2007 till date). In course of his doctoral investigation on cryptosporidiosis in calves and children, through 2009 University of Ibadan MacArthur staff development grant, he was a Visiting Scholar to Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, GA. and to Dr Dubey, J.P.’s Laboratory at the United States Department of Animal Parasitic Diseases Laboratory, Animal and Natural Resources Institute, Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, United States Department of Agriculture, Beltsville, Maryland. His research interest is in host, parasite interaction and control of protozoan Emerging, Neglected and Endemic parasites of zoonotic Importance especially in Molecular biology and epidemiology of Cryptosporidiosis, Toxoplasmosis, Microsporidiosis, Pentastomiasis. He has special skills in Science media for dissemination of results of translation research in zoonoses. He has about 10 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and refereed conference proceedings.<?xml:namespace prefix = o />
